From February 2018 to January 2020, I was a Post-doctoral fellow at LSCE, in the frame of the ANR project HADoC  "Human Ancestors Dispersals : role of Climate", which is an interdisciplinary project including 4 French research units (LSCE, CEREGE, PALEVOPRIM and PACEA), lead by Gilles Ramstein at LSCE. The project aims to understand the impact of climate on hominoid and hominin dispersals/evolution.

From October 2014 to October 2016, I was a Post-doctoral Fellow of the Labex OT-Med and member of the CEREGE, Aix-en-Provence. The aim of my project, the Chad-UNITE project, was to characterize past changes in the surface hydrology and environments of the Lake Chad basin during the Holocene and the Pliocene.

From December 2013 to September 2014, I was a Post-doctoral Researcher at Uni Climate, Bjerknes Center  for Climate Research, Bergen, Norway. I studied climate variability during the Pliocene with the NorESM-L model, through changes in radiative forcing (extreme CO2 and insolation) and Mediterranean salinity.

From October 2010 to November 2013, I did my PhD thesis at LSCE on the Pliocene climate variability, and its implications for: 1/ the Greenland Ice Sheet, 2/ Megalake Chad episodes and 3/ hominin migrations.

ANR HADOC : coming soon

Pliocene Model Intercomparison Project phase 2 (PlioMIP 2)

Leader of the CMIP6 PlioMIP exercise at the LSCE modelling group. (IPSL-CM6). Leader of other model versions, IPSL-CM5A and IPSL-CM5A2 : Ning Tan (now at Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Beijing).

Chad-UNITE: Understanding the Long-Term variability of Lake Chad environments: a paleoclimate modelling approach for a better assessment of future changes Start : October 2014. Collaboration between CEREGE, IMBE and LSCE (PI: Florence Sylvestre, IRD, CEREGE).

Ocean Controls on high latitude Climate : the Pliocene case study (OCCP)

I investigate Pliocene maximum radiative forcing variability (CO2 and orbit), and the role of increased Mediterranean outflow water on high latitude climate. (PI: Bjorg Risebrobakken, Uni Climate, Bjerknes Center for Climate Research)

Pliocene Model Intercomparison Project phase 1 (PlioMIP 1)

Leader of the PlioMIP1 exercise at the LSCE modelling group
