Monday ‘Reconnect day’ where we stay at home and settle back into the weekly routine. 3/4 days is a long time for a child to be away and they need time to readjust to the different rules and routine between home and my setting. We will spend time in the garden so the children get fresh air and a large space to run.
Tuesday Group at the Scouts HQ. This is a great opportunity for your child to socialise with lots of other children of different ages. This is a private group with 4 childminders, 2 assistants and up to 20 children.
On the 2nd Tuesday of each month, Learning through play the messy way, will be coming to the group. This can be a very messy session and your child will need a full set of spare clothes including socks.
On the 4th Tuesday of each month, Robot Reg will be coming to the group. https://www.robotreg.co.uk/
Wednesday Outdoor Learning day. We spend the morning visiting woods, parks or other outdoor spaces engaging with nature.
Thursday Hadleigh Country Park for Treetots. Treetots is an outdoor toddler group where we walk around the park, read a story, sing songs and make a craft.
In the Winter, we still go out and your child will need a full set of spare clothes; a puddle suit or old clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty; a warm coat and wellies. As wellies aren’t very warm and may get full of water after puddle jumping, your child will also need a spare set of shoes. When the weather is colder, they will need a hat and gloves.
