Biblical chronology is concerned with the arrangement and dating of Biblical events based on the Scriptural record. Those who read and study the Bible will have noticed the Bible provides many very detailed genealogies, both in the Old and New Testaments, several of which also provide dates of events or when individuals were born. Many theologians and Bible teachers have attempted to understand the vast amount of information available in the Biblical record and many have published timelines for these events. In fact, timelines back to Creation are possible based on the information provided in the Bible. The studies on this website were developed in order to provide the Bible student and those interested in Biblical history with a better understanding of some of the fundamental verses involved so that one would be in a better position to evaluate the various chronology solutions and claims that are widely taught today.
