PREVIOUS SENIORS CAPTAIN, DAVID WILSON
IS LIVING WITH THIS DISEASE.
DAVID WAS VERY MOVED AND THANKFUL FOR THE KINDNESS AND GENEROSITY SHOWN BY ALL THE SENIORS AND STAFF.
THE TOTAL AMOUNT RAISED WAS A FANTASTIC £920.00

A personal message and thank you from Dave Wilson:
Dave and Calderfields Senior Golf Section
To you personally Dave my sincere thanks for everything you have done for me, yesterday you and Bob and the seniors made my day. It was so nice to see the lads i don’t normally see on Tuesday and Wednesday on my visits to the club, many of which i have played with in the past.
During my term as Seniors Captain i fully came to realise what a great group of lads they were and it was an honour to be their Captain.
As for yesterday what can i say the kind thoughts and best wishes that were given to me were so heart felt, it was difficult for me to respond as i would have liked . The seniors once again proved not only are they a great bunch of lads but also a very generous bunch.
You have raised an incredible amount of money for Motor Neurone Disease Association which i know will be spent very wisely. Amanda Devlin said to me before she left how much she had enjoyed her day and wanted to wish you all well for the future.
I can only end by saying thank you to you all, i miss my golf and the time spent putting the world to rights with all my friends in the seniors keep enjoying your golf.
