CALA/NE Chapter 2011 Election Results

Dear Members,

CALA/NE Chapter 2011 election was held from June 19 to 27, 2011. Based on the info sent from CALA webmaster, I am very pleased to announce the election result as follows:

Total active members: 67

Total voting ballots sent out: 67

Total voting ballots received: 36 (online & mail)

Total voting rate: 54%

The voting result is:

Charlene Chou (Vice President/President Elect (2011-2012): 32

Tian Xiao Zhang (Secretary 2011-2012): 32

Xue-Ming Bao (Membership 2011-2012): 32

Hung-Yun Chang (Treasurer 2011-2012): 31

All candidates received more than half of the votes from valid voting ballots. Please join me in congratulating our new chapter officers!

Ms. Judy Xiao will be our President to work with the newly elected officers for 2011-2012.

It has been my great pleasure serving as the chapter President for the term of 2010-2011. I have received very strong support and a lot of help from our Chapter Board and our members. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve you and to gain so many valuable experiences. Please continue to show your strong support to our new chapter officers!
