A record was found of the sale of Caffery's land in 1799 to William Warren of Sherborn. The document and a transcription of the handwritten details are below.
Land sale to William Warren Jr. of Sherborn for $117.50 from John Caffery of Needham, 1 April 1799
“...two certain tracts of Land lying in Said Hopkinton. The first contains about nine acres be the same more or less. It is bounded Southerly on a Townway heading by Said Caffery House: Westerly on Land now, or lately owned by David Cutler: Northerly + Easterly on Land of John Gibson being land I bought of David Cutler. The Second piece contains two acres + three quarters of an acre with the Buildings there on And is bounded Northerly on the Road that leads from Hopkinton Meeting House to Mr. Israel Walker(?); South westerly on Land of John Mouther(?) + South Easterly on Mr. John Gibsons Land now or lately in the improvement of the Widow Gibson as will more fully appear by a plan of the last described pieces here unto annexed [?] then [?] being had"
