National Cadet and Junior Canadian Rangers Support Group Order 5027-4, The Lord Strathcona Medal

1.         The Sp Gp Order 5027-4, The Lord Strathcona Medal, is issued under the authority of the Comd Natl CJCR Sp Gp and takes effect immediately. 

2.         This Sp Gp Order better defines the procedures and processes related to the Lord Strathcona Medal including the selection process, criteria, requirements and procedures. In addition, a presentation narrative has been added for use in award ceremonies.  

3.         Effective immediately, Cadet Administrative and Training Order (CATO) 13-16 Annex D, Lord Strathcona Medal, is rescinded.

4.         Regional Cadet Support Unit Commanding Officers are requested to ensure maximum distribution of this Gp Order to their members, to include promotion of the document through social media and newsletters.

5.         This order can be accessed in the Canadian Cadet Organizations Extranet .
