During the Covid-19 Lockdown I studied an online course called the Abstract Expressionists. Doing a painting in the style of the expressionists was optional. These are my submissions. The artists vowed to move the Avantgarde from Europe and bring it to America. The group set up MoMA in New York with their new view of what art should be.

My passion for art began in Europe while touring the galleries and sites of antiquity. A whole new world opened up for me. After training for 5 years, I began exhibiting and teaching. This was 20 years ago and the passion never abates. In my previous life I was a scientist.
ART for me is another way of exploring the mysteries of life. I believe we need to celebrate the beauty we see around us in the natural world and in our fellow human beings.
I believe in promoting good technique in the context of personal development and self exploration of creativity.
