Reverend Dr. Jackie Brannen
Reverend Dr. Jackie Brannen has been in pastoral ministry since 2005. Over these years she has served the Richmond Community UMC, Asbury UMC, United Church of Monmouth, East Monmouth UMC, Rockland UMC, Thomaston Federated Church, First UMC of Auburn, Portsmouth First UMC and currently, Buxton UMC and West Baldwin UMC. She also served for 8 years as a District Superintendent for the New England Conference of the UMC; first in Northern Maine and then in New Hampshire. She began her career as a special educator and counselor for emotionally handicapped children and their families. She has been a foster parent and is an adoptive mom. In both ministry and in her work with children, the power of God's love has brought healing and hope to all who are open to it. In her spare time, Pastor Jackie is a spiritual director.
Jackie lives in Wells, Maine with her grandson, Matthew, and two yorkies; Yuki and Finn. She has three daughters; Angela, Nichole and Nyx. She has 7 grandchildren; Joshua, Matthew, Kaihana, Linnea, Kaleyo, Kya and Kalese. She loves to travel, read, and walk on the beach. While life can be complicated, Jackie thinks, in the words of Paul, Jahn, Ringo and Goerge, "All you need is love".
