2019 ATV Raffle Rules

Licence Number: 528417

1.     Raffle tickets shall not be sold to persons under the age of 18.

2.    Raffle tickets to be sold only in Alberta.

3.    Raffle tickets will be available for purchase in-person, by mail, payable by cash, e-transfer, cheque, square reader or Paypal.

4.    The raffle prizes are as follows: 

          a.    First Prize: NEW 2019 Polaris Sportsman 570

          b.    Second Prize: NEW Pit Boss 440 Deluxe Pellet Grill

          c.     Third Prize: NEW Portable Propane Fire Pit & Two Camping Chairs

5.    Ticket sellers shall advise buyers not to write the name of person or persons under 18 years of age on ticket.

6.    The draw will be held on August 25th, 2019 at the Busby Sports Grounds

7.    There shall be restrictions on members of the organization buying tickets. No member of the BVFD Society shall be permitted to purchase a ticket. 

a.    There are NO restrictions on relatives or family members of society            members buying tickets. 

8.    There shall be 1000 tickets printed at a cost of $20 per ticket. There shall be a minimum of 500 tickets sold to cover the organizations costs or an application for extension will be made to AGLC, and with ALGC approval a revised raffle draw date shall be established. The date for determination and application for extension will be August 10th, 2019.

9.    There shall be no refunds on ticket sales

10.  Notice advising ticket purchasers, in the event a winning ticket stub has more than one name on it, the licensed not for profit association shall award the prize to only one of the individuals identified on the ticket, and that the licensed not for profit association and the AGLC are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket stub.

11.  Winning tickets will NOT be returned to the draw barrel for all subsequent draws.

12.  Prizes will be drawn in order of prize. First Prize, Second Prize, Third Prize. 

13.  All prizes will be awarded as is and as listed on the ticket license application; there is no cash in lieu of prizes.

14.  Winners shall be notified by phone, and/or letter to the address shown on the ticket stub, and shall have one year from the date of draw to claim their prize. It is the responsibility of the winner to pick up their own prize.

15.  In the event of the winning ticket holders not accepting prize within one year of date of draw (August 25th 2020) the prize will be forfeited back to the Society.
