Thompson, Cheryl Irene (Otremba) of Lakeville, MN, lost her long and hard fought battle with cancer on February 21, 2010. Cheryl was born to Richard and Leona Otremba on January 24, 1953 in Little Falls, MN. Cheryl was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her mother; husband of 34 years; Douglas; sons, Steven (Rachel) and Sean; brothers, Gary (Marie), Robert (Jeanne), John, Gerald (Julie) and Terrance (Juliana); sister, Mary (Michael) Olson and many nieces, nephews and friends. Cheryl attended and graduated from Burnsville High School, Normandale Community College and the College of St. Catherine's. Her business career consisted of a variety of positions at Sperry/Univac/ Unisys, Marvin Windows and Doors, EdView, Sterling State Bank, TRiCOM Communications and most recently Catholic Finance Corporation. Dale Grieger passed away unexpectedly at his home in Grand Junction, CO on Friday, February 9, 2007. Dale was born April 21, 1952 in Prescott, Wisconsin the son of Awald and Dorothy Foster Grieger. Dale grew up in the Minneapolis area, later moved to Northfield MN and finally to Grand Junction CO in 1978. He was employed as a mechanic and then in the maintenance department at Coors Ceramics. Dale was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church. He is survived by three children, Jason (Cansas) Grieger of Whitewater, CO; Luke (Shawna) Grieger of Grand Junction, CO; Michelle (Travis) Grieger-Richardson of Fruita, CO; a brother, Mark Grieger of Grand Junction, CO; four sisters, Corrine (Ed) Dalley of Corona, CA; Diane Peterson of Whitewater, CO; Susan (Chuck) Ekstrom of Randolph, MN and Karen (Duane) Sickler of Grand Junction, CO. He is also survived by five grandchildren who he cherished and many other relatives and friends. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Darryl and Matthew Grieger; a sister, Nancy Grieger and his aunts, Rose Gesme and Violet Spillman of Cannon Falls, MN. Funeral services were held on Thursday, February 15, 2007 at the Messiah Lutheran Church of Grand Junction and burial followed in the Orchard Mesa Cemetery.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, Doug; daughters, Ashlie and Brittney; son, Eric (Erin) Burggraff; and grandchildren, Colin and Morgan. She also leaves behind her father, Jerry; and siblings, Jim (Kim), Cindi (Bruce) Edwards, Vicki (Kelly) Spratt, and Bob, as well as countless other caring family members and friends.
