Met Opera Schedule

Adele organizes group-discounted bookings at the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre for live HD  screenings from the Metropolitan Opera House in New York.  

These performances are screened all over the world and we are lucky to have a venue in Bundaberg participating in the experience.

MET. OPERA PERFORMANCES (SEPT. & NOV.)

Dear Opera Lovers,

Do consider coming to the final two Met. Operas later in the year. It’s “Madama Butterfly” on Wednesday, September 25th at 1.00 pm and “La Rondine” on Saturday November 23rd also at 1.00 pm. Both operas were composed by Puccini. See earlier info sheet for synopses.

I would appreciate your booking, with payment, for both operas if that is possible. Bookings are made 10 days before each opera i.e. Sept. 15th and Nov. 13th.

Thank you sincerely for your support and co-operation during the year. Our group provides the majority of the audience at the Met. Opera screenings. To ensure that these continue, we need adequate on-going attendance.

I look forward to seeing you in September and remember anyone can attend. You do not need to be a member of U3A. Perhaps you might encourage another friend to join us!
