Ganesh Utsav 2023

Ganpati Bappa Morya! This year Basingstoke Ganesh Utsav will be celebrated on 24th September from 09:30 am and finishing at 01:30 pm. 

Entry for the event closes at 12 noon, so to partake in the Atharvashirsha sahasravarthan, aarti and prashad, please arrive anytime between 10 am and 12 noon. 

Programme details

9:30 am  to 10:30 am - Ganesh puja

10:30 am to 11:00 am - Miravanuki presentation

11 am to 12 noon - Shastravarthan(reciting Atharvashirsha 1008 times)

12:30 pm - Aarti followed by prashad
