ORIGINAL TROOP 6 CHARTER
Troop 6 was first chartered on May 11, 1933 to the PTA of St. Elmo School.
Troop meetings were held at St. Elmo School.

1999 RESOLUTION HONORING TROOP 6 FOR 65 YEARS OF CONTINUOUS SERVICE
In February 1999, Trinity Episcopal Church presented this resolution to Troop 6 as the oldest continuously registered Boy Scout troop in Columbus, Georgia.
By that time, Trinity had served as the charter organization for 25 years (since 1974) and Troop 6 had produced 69 Eagle Scouts.
