Troop 401 plans and goes on various trips each month, which build on the skills learned at troop meetings the month prior. For example, the troop spent the month of February working on first aid skills and then participated in the General Nash First Aid Meet.
Many of our trips usually involve camping or hiking, or both!
The troop also participates in district wide events such as the annual Cub-O-Ree and the Klondike Derby.
2025's Upcoming Trips Include:
Blue Mountain Tubing
General Nash First Aid Meet
Gettysburg Historical Hike
Philly Auto Show,
and more!
Troop 401 participates in the Resica Falls Scout Reservation week long summer camp program each year. Resica Falls is located in the Pocono Mountains, surrounded by endless tracks of mountain trails, clear streams, and waterfalls.
Summer camp programs include a week of camping, hiking, aquatics, shooting sports, and opportunities to work on advancements.
Information for this summer's camp can be found HERE on the Resica Falls Website.
Troop 401 is committed to serving our community. Each year, Troop 401 participates in the Scouts BSA Scouting for Food Drive for a local food pantry. The Troop also volunteers at community events year round.
