Difference between warm weather camping and cold weather camping
Some basic camping gear to have
Refer to the pages of a Scout book.
The Boy Scout Motto is "Be Prepared". This is especially true for overnight camping trips regardless of the season. To ensure that every scout is prepared, Troop 22 has established a minimum set of gear for overnight campouts. You can bring additional equipment as long as it is not a safety issue and you can carry it yourself (see pages 51-54 and 213-219 in the Boy Scout Handbook).
