About Troop 192

Formed in February 2019, Troop 192 is a girls Scouts BSA troop with over 20 members. We meet every Tuesday from 7:00 - 8:30 pm at Baldwin Memorial United Methodist Church at 921 Generals Highway, Millersville, MD 21108

We are grateful to our charter organization, Baldwin Memorial United Methodist Church, for sponsoring us.

This youth-led troop, focused on leadership and service, is led by a group of enthusiastic and adventurous girls ages 11-17. The troop enjoys many activities such as camping, hiking, biking, kayaking, scuba diving, swimming, and much more. Many of our scouts are also active in atheltics, the arts, and Girl Scouts. Scouts BSA can be enjoyed year-round at your own pace!

Troop 192 is led by Scoutmaster Annie Medford, who has over 15 years of experience with local Girl and Boy Scouts troops. She is supported by a committee comprised of local scout parents and leaders from various troops with strong leadership and professional backgrounds.

Youth-Led Troop

Scouts are elected into leadership positions by their fellow Scouts, where they plan and lead troop activities with assistance from adult leaders.

Each year, the Scouts in new leadership positions attend Junior Leadership Training in March with Troops 804 and 1214. There they learn valuable leadership skills and plan for the coming year!
