Illinois Wesleyan University strives to be the leader in liberal arts-inspired entrepreneurship education.
Students from all educational paths can aspire to not only identify problems, needs, and issues but actively solve those problems through entrepreneurship and innovation. Entrepreneurship is the ultimate in experiential learning as it moves beyond the classroom to apply their learning. Entrepreneurship fully expresses the goals of a liberal-arts education as it challenges students to think critically, apply their knowledge to real problems, and communicate effectively.
As one part of this campus-wide effort, we organize and support the Get Funded program.
Below, for the Spring 2025 semester, are student-entrepreneurs with new business ideas they want to launch. Each has been asked to produce a 3-5 minute describing their idea. After each video, there is a link that allows you to provide constructive feedback. At the end, we ask that you provide suggestions as to which is the winner and how to best allocate the $1000 in seed funding support.
