I am also an external faculty at the MIT Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research and a Visiting Senior Fellow at the LSE Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment.
My research informs the design of public policies. My publications spans climate change and the energy transition, population dynamics and biodiversity, and migration and labor market outcomes. My work has been funded by several agencies, including the Swiss National Science Foundation, Innosuisse, and Movetia. I serve as associate editor of the Journal of Environmental Economics and Policy and on the editorial board of Applied Economic Perspective and Policy.
I regularly collaborate with governmental agencies and private companies to analyze economic data, administer surveys, and design experiments and informational interventions on topics of shared interest. Feel free to contact me about potential projects.
My teaching focuses on microeconomics, environmental economics, and data science / applied econometrics.
