If you can identify these people, please email bonnieebrown(at)comcast(dot)net. Thank you!
The subject is unknown. The back has this written on it, in pencil: "Mr. Brown and company return to the Zanesville, Ohio, office." To me, this sounds like copy for an advertisement.
This photo has been in the John McDonald Brown family for many years.
The front of the paper frame is embossed "Granville", and above this is written, in pencil, "Mr. Brown". Granville is the location of Denison University.
Philip Henry Brown and his wife and children moved to Granville in 1902 so that their daughter, Beulah Brooks Brown, could go to school at Denison. I don't think this is Philip, because he died in 1903 in Granville. Also, the information I have on Philip is that he was a farmer.
I wonder what Brown this could have been?
This picture has also been in the Brown family for many years. I believe this is my grandfather, John McDonald Brown (son of Philip), but I'm not positive. It was in my father's things. There is no writing or embossing on it to help with identification.
This is Elmer C. McNutt and Margaret "Amah" McDonald McNutt. Margaret or Amah was the sister of Alice McDonald Brown. I previously had the wrong names for these people.
