Course description

Students enrolled in the Spanish 3 course are introduced to the formation and use of the subjunctive tenses, both the present and imperfect subjunctive. By reading longer readings, students develop reading and synthesis skills, grow their vocabulary and cement their knowledge of all grammar points previously taught. Abstract issues and cultural icons are discussed in depth, such as Hispanic art and artists, literature and writers and contemporary life and famous political and social leaders.
