Lara Serter

Lara is originally from Istanbul, Turkey. She obtained her BSc degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California San Diego, with minors in Chemistry and Chinese Studies.

Upon completing her undergraduate degree, Lara joined the Brockdorff Lab as a Research Assistant in 2024. She is interested in understanding the mechanisms of X-chromosome inactivation and reactivation using molecular biology and microscopy approaches.
