Here you will find information on our clubs up and coming courses. To see what type of courses our club runs just check out the information below.
Whether you just want to learn a new skill, your new to lifeguarding and looking to gain your qualification or you currently hold a qualification and looking to take your re-qualification we have the courses to help you achieve this.

Course Overview
Pre-requisites
- Be a current member of Broadstairs SLSC & SLSGB
- Minimum age of 16 years
- Must be able to swim 400 meters in 7.5 minutes
- Must be able to run 200 meters in 40 seconds
Course Duration & Format
- 40 hours of learning including water & theory sessions prior to assessment
- The course structure will usually take one of the following formats
- 6 day course with assessment taking place on the 6th day
- Weekly training sessions run over a number of months, ending with assessment
