The Purpose of the Broad River Brewers is to engage local craft brewers in the five strings values of friendship, collaboration, knowledge, community, and responsibility.

- Friendship: We develop relationships with one another through the common bond of craft brewing.
- Collaboration: We work together to build our skills in craft brewing.
- Education: We pursue knowledge in the art & science of craft brewing.

- Responsibility: We practice our craft using the most sustainable methods possible.
