Who we are?
We are a global group of researchers with a special interest in developing & applying advances in neuroimaging, neuro- and cognitive sciences and engineering technology to enhance the cognitive and mental wellbeing of the aged. We are scientists, clinicians and engineers with diverse expertise in neuroimaging, clinical aging, cognitive psychology & psychiatry, robotics, biomedical engineering and computer science.
Theme:
Neuroimaging and Informatics for Successful Aging
This year, we are facing to worldwide pandemic of Corona Virus Pneumonia Hazard and it is quite difficult to hold a meeting in a conference hall. As the 8th year activity, BrainConnects 2020 is organized as a research topic in Frontiers in Human Neuroscience / Health section and 3 cross referenced journals.
We seek to establish global collaborations in aging research that leverage our complementary and trans-disciplinary expertise to create novel and high impact innovations that improve the quality of life of our aging population. We especially welcome the bold ideas and energy of early career researchers. We aspire towards a culture of design-thinking and hacking. For details, please check the research topic page.
