I am interested in the application of mathematical and computational models to biological and social systems. I have found that my background in theoretical computer science provides me with useful tools to study many interesting questions in the fields of behavioral ecology, infectious disease epidemiology, and evolutionary sociobiology.

I'm currently a Health Scientist / Mathematical Modeler at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, GA, working within the Division of Preparedness and Emerging Infections, Health Economics and Modeling Unit (DPEI/HEMU).
