About Me

I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rutgers University. I received my Ph.D. degree from Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Minnesota, Twin cities in 2015,  under the supervision of Prof. Keshab K. Parhi.  I received my Bachelor degree and Master degree from Department of Intensive Instruction and School of Electronics Science and Engineering in 2007 and 2010, respectively, both from Nanjing University, China. 

Research Interest

I have broad interests in various technical fields and layers towards building next-generation intelligent systems. Specifically, my research areas include:

    1) Efficient Deep Learning Algorithm and Model Design 

    2) Efficient and Reliable AI/ML Hardware and System Design

    3) Efficient and Intelligent Robotic Computing

    4) AI Security, Safety and Reliability

    5) Intelligent and Fault-tolerant DSP Algorithm and Hardware

    6) AI-powered Domain Applications (e.g., Smart Transportation, Smart Manufacturing)
