Our Troop started in April of 2009 and is still going strong today!!

We are focused on challenging outdoor activities like hiking, canoeing, camping, and fishing. We camp every month but December (only because personal calendars are so hectic - not because we don't like the cold). We have several annual outings such as our Ski Trip, Cross-Over and Summer Camps, and the rest of the camping trips are determined by our Youth Led troop

We believe that every boy that joins are Troop is capable of reaching the First Class rank in his first year and then going on to attain the rank of Eagle Scout.

We are a youth led Troop which means things can be a little chaotic at times, but there are experienced Adult Leaders to guide our scouts. The Troop is led by a Patrol Leader Council and they plan and organize our yearly calendar, court of honors, monthly camping trips, and weekly meetings. We use the Patrol method which means (for example) that Scouts in groups of 6-8 plan their own menu, cook their meals and yes-even clean their own dishes on monthly camping trips.

Our mission is to fulfill the mission of the Boy Scouts of America by creating tomorrows leaders. Leaders with a strong mind, body and soul. Leaders that make decisions based on the Scout Oath and Law. Leaders that know when to follow and when they need to lead from the front.
