I am a Senior Researcher at the "Gheorghe Zane" Institute for Economic and Social Research, Romanian Academy, Iasi Branch. I earned my Diplom-Volkswirtin degree from the  University of Mannheim in 2008 and completed my PhD in Applied Microeconomics and the Economics of Education at  Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Romania. Between 2013 and 2016, I had the privilege of being a Fellow at the College for Interdisciplinary Educational Research (CIDER) in Berlin, Germany.

My research examines contemporary economic and societal challenges, with a focus on the economics of education, migration, policy impact evaluation, and the broader domains of wellbeing and health. I specialize in applying advanced statistical and econometric methods to identify causal effects, aiming to generate evidence that supports effective policy-making and contributes to societal progress.
