Player Code of Conduct

• All CLUB PLAYERS will always play by the rules of the game.

• All CLUB PLAYERS will never argue with an official.  

• All CLUB PLAYERS will control their tempers.  They understand that verbal abuse of officials and sledging other players and deliberately distracting or provoking an opponent are not acceptable or permitted behaviours in any sport.

• All CLUB PLAYERS will work equally hard for themselves and/ or their team.

• All CLUB PLAYERS will be a good sport and applaud all good plays whether they are made by my team or the opposition.

• All CLUB PLAYERS will treat all players in the sport as they like to be treated.  They will not bully or take unfair advantage of another competitor.

• All CLUB PLAYERS will cooperate with their coach(s) team mates and opponents.

• All CLUB PLAYERS will display modesty in victory and graciousness in defeat.

• All CLUB PLAYERS will display control, respect and professionalism to all involved with the sport including opponents, umpires, coaches, officials, administrators, the media, parents and spectators.  They will encourage players to do the same.

•  All CLUB PLAYERS will participate for their own enjoyment and not just to please their parents or coaches.

• All CLUB PLAYERS will not arrive at the venue intoxicated or drink alcohol at junior matches.

• All CLUB PLAYERS will respect the rights, dignity and worth of all people involved in the game, regardless of their gender, ability or cultural background.

• All CLUB PLAYERS will thank the opposition and officials at the end of a game.

• All CLUB PLAYERS will comply to anti-doping policies.
