Tabernacle Discourse
The messengers were told to send a warning in the eight month {August} of the third day {2001} to one of the Lord's chosen prophets, regarding the brewing dangers of our times, but every message sent was not honored with a reply. The Lord then commanded the messengers to search for one to stand in the gap, from amongst those who made a public plea or prayer for Divine assistance after the disaster on the eleventh day of the ninth month 2001. The messengers, as per the Lord's instruction, selected me, Sathyananda Ji, as one of their earthly counselors, to help prepare and send Letter/e-mails/faxes to various ministers and pastors, who publicly prayed or pleaded for Divineintervention. After a lengthy period of nonresponse to the Divine offers an0d calls, the messengers contacted the Lord in Spirit and received this message. The following message was given to the messengers in the tenth month of the third day {Third Millennium = 2001.} The Lord has kept His promise as written in {Amos 3: 6 - 8}, but there was none to listen to the warning
Messenger: I cant make out what is in progress.
Master: So many different things, none of which we should discuss today. Why are you disappointed?
Messenger: You know. Why are we doing things you knew would not accomplish anything? I am not comfortable doing them in the first place; I am more uncomfortable with zero outcome.
Master: How many prophets were sent on missions and how many were heard? Let me tell you: just two on two occasions were listened to and abided by, but many were sent. Why? People keep asking for opportunities, demanding them in fact. However, most are so consumed by lack, they do not see the answers offered; then some desire answers on their terms, or in their specific ways, or better yet they wish to be the answer; or at the very least they wish respectable authority to bring it to them, like Myself, or Gabriel, or Pope, or an established and acknowledged prophet. They wish the answer to their prayers to fit within the limitations they impose and meet conditions they established. It does not work this way. However, all sincere prayers and even some pleas are always answered by an offer: you see it or you don't. You wish Divinity to fit your preconceptions; you shall be disappointed every time. No one may say they have not had an offer, or that they were unanswered or unheard. They give Me no credit to answer in My way and on My terms unless they are truly desperate. Until then, they expect Me to rubber-stamp their proposals and their plans, and execute their projects and their actions, and bless them in the process for being so ingenious, inventive and devoted to the cause. The cause of what -- I ask?
Messenger: I would like to know that also. What do they want?
Master: The same as you, primarily validation. However, you only wish a validation of your gifts. They wish a validation that God they have not met, whose name they do not know, has chosen them to glorify Himself, and has entrusted them with harvesting of souls to be delivered through them, by them to the unknown God. For that devotional labor of love they fully expect those whom they are to deliver, to support them in every way and keep them in comfort and in style, with no conveniences missed or innovations overlooked. Divinity supplies all honest needs, and in itself: it is all necessary comfort. All requirements of vanity or pride, all excessive and imposing gestures, all gaudy decorations or even modest ones, that serve no purpose are supplied by different means, by different source. He gives; he takes; as your Twin Towers proved recently, but nobody noticed. In case you don't remember, the tabernacle was a tent.
Messenger: None of the temples were.
Master: Their ruins are a testament.
Messenger: To what?
Master: God does not dwell in buildings, people do. God isn't glorified in structures or in frescoes, but through the acts of Love, God is glorified.
Messenger: People need a place to congregate, protected from the elements.
Master: Indeed. There are dimensions given for a simple structure that will undoubtedly serve the cause and fulfill the need.
Messenger: It would not accommodate more than a dozen people.
Master: Keep the numbers, expand the measure taken. Keep the proportions and the layout as instructed and keep it simple and functional. The monuments of vanity and mausoleums of pride they all call churches are largely built by those who cannot even afford to build themselves a decent home, or educate their children, or sometimes even feed and clothe them. How fair is it, how necessary or how appreciated by Divine intent? Those buildings are a source of pride, while they should be the source of knowledge, and they inspire acute awareness of perceived needs, when they should inspire Love.
Messenger: It is said in the book that clergy is to be supported.
Master: Unquestionably so -- they should not starve, or freeze, or be neglected. They also should not prosper above those they supposedly serve, and at their expense; they should not sell that which was given to them for free; but that which they acquired through the sweat of their brow they undoubtedly may sell. Those who profess themselves to be servants of God must be beyond reproach, above vanity and beyond temptations to manipulate the gullible to furnish the unnecessary, the excessive and the imposing. Acquiring a bigger, better church is not a service to God, but building a house for the homeless is, unless the old house of worship is unsafe or too dilapidated to further serve the purpose.
Messenger: So then, you knew that no one would answer, but made us do it anyway.
Master: The word had to be fulfilled as written, and so it was. Besides, it isn't over by a long shot. Be patient; wait a little longer and all of us may just be surprised. {Ezek 22: 17 - 31}
