When I saw the movie Crazy Rich Asians, I could not hold my laugh: the biggest shame for Rachel Chu is being a female Asian economist. That is exactly what I am. Besides, I have also taught game theory to undergraduate students as Rachel did at the beginning of the movie. The only difference is that Rachel was teaching at New York University, while I am teaching at a different university.

Therefore the next time I met grandma Lisa for dinner, I asked her opinion on female Asian economist. "Regardless of how the story looks like in the movie," she looked me in the eyes and said, "I love this specific one in front of me right now." I felt much relieved.
