Welcome to Room 123!!!

I hope you all are having a fantastic summer!

To be prepared for the new school year regardless of which class you are taking please read the following:

• Work through the summer packet. Answers will be posted at the end of August. Yes, I know it is summer and last school year was crazy, but I want you to be as well prepared as possible for your next class!

• ONE spiral/composition notebook per semester with exactly 100 pages (with graph paper is preferable, NO wide rule paper) dedicated only to math class

• Graphing Calculator: I recommend the TI-84 Plus CE Edition models. (Calculators on phones are not permitted during class time.)

The library has a limited supply of graphing calculators. If you do not have access to a graphing calculator PLEASE check one out so you have access to it outside of the classroom. The checkout form is attached below. Geometry students will not be allowed to check-out these calculators until all Algebra 2 and above classes have had a chance.

MATH CLUB meets on Thursday's in room 123. Come join the fun. Math club is run by students who enjoy being in math classes. Activities include crafts, games (like game of 24), peer-tutoring, and other various activities throughout the year. Math club students are also involved in student activities like Safe Halloween and 8th grade open house to name a few.
