Bob Dowling served 13 years as an NCIS Special Agent (including two years as the Director of CounterIntelligence at DARPA) specializing in Executive Protection, CounterIntelligence, CounterTerrorism, and CyberSecurity. He has protected U.S. Presidents, British Royalty, Foreign Leaders, Celebrities, and U.S. Military Admirals and Generals all over the world.

In 1998, Bob Dowling decided to leave U.S. Government Service to protect Celebrities and their Family Members, exclusively. On 9-11, 2001, Bob was privately employed, full-time, by one of the world's wealthiest Families. Following the terror attacks on 9-11, Bob returned to U.S. Government Service as a Senior Special Agent (SSA) and served four years assigned to the FBI's National Joint Terrorism Task Force (NJTTF) as the National Representative for the U.S. Federal Air Marshal Service (FAMS) and the U.S. Federal Protective Service (FPS).
