CALLING ALL TRAIL RIDERS!
The BGSApHC Judged Trail Ride Dates have been set! All trail rides will set out from Green River State Park's day ride parking area at 9 am cst/ 10 am est. We will ride for a minimum of four hours, so please come prepared. Judges to be announced, but please add these dates to your calendars now! Your Kentucky bred appaloosa MUST attend at least one judged ride to be eligible for the trail program payout, but these rides are open to every breed and everyone. Please bring a friend so we can spread the word about our amazing club and what we have to offer!

Join us for the 2026 Spotted In The Bluegrass Open Trail Ride at Wranglers Campground!
The Bluegrass State and West KY Appaloosa Horse Clubs are teaming up to host an open trail ride. Come join the fun!
What: 5-day trail ride
When: 6-10 May, 2026
Where: Wranglers Campground, Land Between the Lakes, Golden Pond, KY 42211
Who: Everyone! Open to all riders, all ages & all breeds of equine.
Ride Fee: $35.00 + auction item per person (ages 10 & under free)
Camping: Make reservations for campsite and stalls directly through Wranglers Campground at www.lblweb.usedirect.com or 800-525-7077. Campground Area D is recommended.
Evening meals will be provided Thursday (potluck), Friday and Saturday. Register by April 8th to receive a free ride t-shirt.

The September trail ride has been RESCHEDULED due to scheduling conflicts.
The new date is OCTOBER 22, 2022. We will meet at the Mammoth Cave Horse Camp at 11:00 AM EST (10 am CST)

In 2008, the trail ride was held in conjunction with a regular meeting. Members rode all day at Mammoth Cave National Park and then ate and met afterwards.
