I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics and Data Science, National University of Singapore. Prior to this appointment, I was a research fellow at the Genome Institute of Singapore working with Chaolong Wang.
I obtained a Ph.D. in Biostatistics from Harvard University in 2016. My Ph.D. dissertation committee members were Eric Tchetgen Tchetgen (chair), James Robins and Sebastien Haneuse. In 2010, I received a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University.
My current research focuses on causal inference, missing data analysis, semiparametric theory, machine learning, and their applications in economic, political, epidemiological, and biomedical studies.
