Here are the steps on how to do it:
It might sound funny, but, one thing that has always frustrated me, as a power user of Microsoft Windows, is when my window positions are no longer centered. I know is sounds silly, but, it really gets to me. Anyway, whenever I look into ways of resetting window positions, without paying for some app or hacking the registry, I end up empty handed. All I wanted was a simple way to do this in Windows, and, given that there is no feature within Windows to do this, I was determined to find a way.
Alas, I found a way. It's a bit of a workaround, but, does the trick. Surprisingly, this trick works on Windows 7 and 10.
navigate to the system settings panel. this can be found by right clicking on 'This PC' or by searching for 'This PC' in windows search
in the navigation bar, change the location to 'This PC'
close the window
open 'This PC' again, and, the window position will be restored to the center of the screen again
Enjoy!
