Sebastian Update!

I meant to send you an update on Sebastian f/k/a Spruce last month for his birthday but things got busy. Sebastian is certainly a mischievous pup but so loving and fun. He's either grooming my older dog (like a cat!) or terrorizing him. You might recall that his left paw was webbed. As he grew, he favored it more and started to limp a little although he never stopped running and playing. I took him to an orthopedic specialist who thinks the issue is lack of padding under the webbed digits. So Sebastian now wears the snazzy boot you see in the attached picture. I'm suppose to limit his high impact exercise but he loves the dog park and hates swimming. Oh well, he's happy and healthy.

Wonderful update on April from adopter Phyllis!!

"Thanks to Bless Their Hearts Animal Rescue August 19th April joined Harley and his family! After losing Belle at the age of 18 it didn't seem possible for another doggie to ever fit in. However after lots of really heart felt concerns and eating my words I made the decision to bring April home with me after two afternoon visits to the Bless Their Hearts Reacue. She will never replace Belle but she has her own place in the home and in our hearts."

Parker update (formerly Shelly) traveled to New York Saturday.

"I just wanted to thank you again for everything! Parker arrived safely today and Michael and I instantly fell in love! She thoroughly enjoyed exploring and playing outside in the yard. Below please find a picture of her at her new home!"

Sweet Olivia Update! Olivia did great over the weekend.

She went to her forever home today to recover and enjoy her life.

"I'm so excited that I'm getting her!! I've never felt the time was right to get a rescue dog, but I immediately knew she is the one!! Thank you for blessing me with her." I picked her up at 3:00 today. She's been laying in my lap ever since then. Sweet baby!" Penny

UPDATE-Remember Olivia now Kailee?- Her stitches were removed today and has found a fantastic forever home. Thank you Dr.Ganis, the staff at All Animal Hospital Tupelo,Ms. and her new forever mom, for saving this baby. It takes a village to save as many as possible.

Sweet Bonnie-Now Shea -Update.

Thanks to all who donated so that (Bonnie) Shea could be treated for heart worms, After being with us for 7 months she was very lucky to find her forever home. - "Ace has very quickly come to accept Shea as his new pack member and we're surprised to discover that Shea will chase him down (herding instinct) in the backyard when when catching his Frisbee! " "Both Shea and Ace spent the 4th GLUED to my side in silent alertness from the safety of living room!" Scott

Nila is one lucky pup! She took a big trip via airplane to her new family. She is now living the high life in New York. She even has a new canine sibling named Summer to lounge on the couch with. Totally spoiled and loved, what more could a pup ask for?!

Cooper-Aka General; now known as Cooper is doing. He's super rambunctious and always running around and stealing items off the floor. When doing laundry he will pick up socks or things you dropped and carry them down to you as if he's helping. Last time he was weighed he was over 55 pounds. He loves to play soccer and has learned he can bark and now that he knows he barks at everything that walks by! Thank you again for giving us such a fun and entertaining dog

They're still best friends! Just wanted to share.

My son laughs at him a lot but still doesn't cuddle with him, but I'm just glad he makes him smile! Hailey and jake are inseparable, he goes everywhere he can w her, even down the sliding board ! (He's in front of course). She calls him her "best friend Jake" even when the kids get upset or get a boo boo he's always standing right near them to make sure they're ok, Jake is truly a blessing and we love him! Hope everyone is ok there too, have a good summer and thank you, he's a perfect match.

Coco Bean-Very Happy Dog, thank you so much! Just checking in to let you know Gypsy (now Moxie) is settling in just fine. She loves all her toys and playtime.

You did such a great job saving and fostering her. She has had zero accidents in the house, she's a great eater and she walks on a leash wonderfully. She loves her belly rubbed and to find twigs in the yard.Thank you for placing her with me. She is loved and spoiled! She loves play dates with Cocoa Bean (now Ellie) when she visits my dad. Thank you!!

I can't believe a year has passed since we got Jade (formerly Daisy). She is an amazing dog - kind and loving and very playful. I would love to see what the other other puppies from her litter look like now. Jade has matured from a cute puppy to a beautiful dog. She loves wearing a bandana. When I take it off to wash it she will carefully take it off the laundry pile and bring it back to me. Jade gets along well with everyone in our family and is truly part of our family.

Kiera-aka Freedom-She is doing extremely well!! She seems to be a mommy's girl and has been letting us know when needs to go outside to go. Kiera is soooo lovey!! We did link up on Facebook with the family who adopted Justice (Riley now) and in the future will try to get them together again. It was a special day today for us to provide a furrever home for little Kiera.

One year ago today this beautiful but very stinky little puppy stepped out of a rescue van from Mississippi and into our lives. Things haven't been the same since. Burberry is a great puppy and full of promise. Thank you Bless Their Hearts Animal Rescue and Got Orphans Transportation.
