Astrological Houses and Rectification
House systems have always been a topic of fierce debate among astrologers, and from the 12th century onwards we see a proliferation of house systems: Equal House, Placidus, Regiomontanus, Alcabitius and many others. House meanings have changed over the years and this has had an impact on how astrology was practised and, in particular, to the outcome of horary questions. This talk will look at the development of houses, and look at a very important technique for natal astrology in a time when nobody had accurate clocks: Rectification.
