I was born in Sweden, but have lived in Copenhagen, Denmark since 1969.

I was educated at The School of Arts and Crafts, Stockholm 1964-67 and at The School of Arts and Crafts, Copenhagen 1969-71.

Since my début back in 1974 at the Artists' Autumn Exhitibion in Copenhagen I have exhibited my tapestries at many art galleries, museums and institutions in Denmark and abroad - solo, with groups or in juried exhibitions. I'm a member of The National Organization of Danish Artists BKF. The Danish Female Artists's Association KKS. and The Artist Socitey 18. november.

I've received grants from a.o. The Danish Ministry of Culture, The Danish Cultire Institute, Knud Højgaards Foundation, L.F. Fogths Foundations. Anna E Munchs Foundation. Travel grant from Denmarks Anneversary Foundation of 1986. Dir.J.P.Lund og Hustru Vilhelmine Bugges Foundetion. Culture Foundation Denmark and Finland. The Danish Arts Foundation Travel Grant, Telmany Scholarship.

I was awarded the Special Award at the International Fiber Art Biennale, Suzahou, China 2006.

I was awarded Excellent Prize Beijing China 2008.

In 2016 and 2021 I was appointed member of the jury - for The 9^th and 11th. From Lausanne to Beijing

In 2007 I exhibited in The Central Museum of Textiles in Lodz in connection with the12 th International Textile Triennale

In 2019 I was shortlisted for the 4th Cordis Prize for Tapestry, Inverleth House Gallery in The Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh
