This website hosts the Bipolar Disorder Imaging Database (BiND) referred to in the September 2008 issue of Archives of General Psychiatry. The database and meta-analysis are contained in an Excel spreadsheet file which may be freely downloaded from this website.
The database contains information of 141 studies which have investigated brain structure (using MRI and CT scans) in patients with bipolar disorder compared to a control group. Ninety-eight studies and 47 brain structures are included in the meta-analysis.
The scientific paper in Archives of General Psychiatry which contains details about database and meta-analysis may be accessed for free, click here. To view the abstract on MEDLINE available click here.
