Binnur Balkan
I am a postdoctoral researcher at SOFI (Swedish Institute for Social Research). I got my Ph.D. in Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics. Before joining SSE, I studied at Bilkent University.
My research interests span topics in applied microeconomics, from discrimination to immigration to policy evaluation. During my postdoc, I will focus on academic hiring with a novel dataset from higher education institutions in Sweden.
