To Make A Donation

Thank you for considering a donation to help our cause. In addition to Parts, Volunteer Service, and Financial donations. We offer a portion of the used bicycle donations we receive for sale to the community at discounted prices to help cover our shop overhead. Frankly, we'd rather put all of our repaired bicycles under a new cyclist, for free. That being said, operating costs remain, and there are many ways you can help out with a donation to the Bicycle Resource of Bend.

Online Donations

Donate to our cause online while shopping at several charity donation sites.

Class Donations

Want to learn how to rebuild a wheel, fix a flat or learn other bicycle maintenance skills? We are here to help and offer many donation-based classes to help educate the community in bicycle repair. Individual or group classes are available.

Sponsorship Donations

Monetary donations can be made to the Bicycle Resource of Bend through The Oregon Community Foundation, or you can designate a donation by calling the United Way at 541.389.6500, or donate through a work-related; weekly, annual or one-time donation program. Check with your employer to see if a program is available. You'll want to designate your donation by providing our 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization name or our Federal Tax ID Number # 80-0756488 so that you may claim your tax-deductible donation at the end of the year. You can also find us on PayPal by using the button above or you can donate to our Eastside Hutch's Bicycle Shop at cost parts account or at our local Selco bank account. Any amount is appreciated and will help to facilitate and further our cause.

Parts & Bicycle Donations

The process of refurbishing the donated bikes we receive may include overhauling shocks, installing new tubes, tires, seats, hand-grips, drive-train components, pedals and any other parts that may be required. The need for new parts is an ongoing challenge to our success. You can contact and speak with Jeff Schuler to coordinate single, short-term or long-term parts and/or bicycle donations at 541.410.9620.

Tax-deductible donation receipt forms are available upon request when making a donation. Fed. Tax ID# 80-0756488
