About Me

My name is Agustin Andres Cortes. I have over 10 years experience in the field of graphic design print and web multimedia, including 2D animation, visual effects, video editing, and title sequence animation with a vast employment history.

I received a Bachelors Degree in the Science of Multimedia Arts from Platt College, San Diego. I learned all of the media design standard softwares, as well as video editing, screenwriting, and Animation. As a plus, I also studied audio editing and music score composing/ Song writing.

I have an animated series on YOUTUBE called Family Guapo that has a huge fan base, and awesome animation work I would love to share with you. My animation Youtube page is called Andrestheman and on it I have several dozen animations, as well as title graphic animations, video editing, and some show concepts one of which I host!

I traveled the world for a Hollywood visual effects company called Legend3D to train the new hires in their offices abroad, including India, Toronto, and Los Angeles. I worked for them for 7 years until I was laid off because the company fully moved to India and China. I got to meet hundreds of people, teach them industry techniques, and broaden my corporate cultural understanding of the world.

My abilities range from intricate digital print designs to full length video productions and animations with meticulous video and audio editing. I also have traditional art skills including pencil, pen and ink, paint, clay modeling, conceptual sketching and comic book art. I have experience in creating elaborate layouts for magazines and newspapers. I'm also a professional musician and have a lifelong study of music theory and composing.
