1st Lt. Bert A. Betts was a U.S. B-24 Liberator bomber pilot in World War II. He flew 30 combat missions out of England over enemy occupied Europe as part of the 458th Bomb Group operating out of Horsham St. Faith Airfield near Norwich. He flew his last two combat missions on D-Day.
