Mrs. Berry-Clark has been a private tutor for 12 years. She taught high school for 10 years and middle school for 2 years. Even as a child, Mrs. Berry-Clark knew she wanted to be a teacher. She is always eager to learn new things and challenge herself to offer the best to her students.
Mrs. Berry-Clark received a Bachelors (BA) in Adolescence Education: Mathematics and a Masters (MS) in Professional Teacher Education with a Certificate in Educational Computing from The College of Saint Rose. Currently, Mrs. Berry-Clark holds a NYS Professional Certification in Mathematics, grades 7-12, with a 5-6 extension.
When she’s not tutoring, Miss BerryMrs. Berry-Clark enjoys spending time at her family camp reading on the front porch, going on hikes and fishing. Before choosing math for a major, Mrs. Berry-Clark was active in various music groups in high school and still enjoys playing piano, saxophone and singing. While at home, she enjoys spending time with her husband, twin boys, dog and cat.
As a tutor, Mrs. Berry-Clark takes pride in her ability to create meaningful learning experiences for her students. With her extensive knowledge of the Common Core Curriculum, Mrs. Berry-Clark is able to use differentiated instructional strategies to accommodate the individual needs and learning styles of her students. Mrs. Berry-Clark has experience working with students with 504 plans and IEPs, as well as with ENL students.
