Ben Moeller-Gaa 
is a 
Pushcart nominatedhaiku poet whose poems, reviews and essays have appeared in over 50 journals worldwide including Acorn, DecemberFrogpond, Modern HaikuShamrockThe Heron's Nest, and World Haiku Review as well as in over thirty anthologies including the Red Moon Press's yearly "best of" anthologies, The Haiku Foundation's mobile haiku app, and Haiku 21 an anthology of the English language haiku from the first decade of the twenty first century. 

He is the author of three haiku chapbooks Fiddle in the Floorboards from Yavanika PressWasp Shadows* from Folded Word (2014), Blowing on a Hot Soup Spoon from poor metaphor design (2014) with a full length collection, Wishbones, forthcoming from Folded Word (October 1, 2018). 

Ben received a degree in Creative Writing from Knox College with an emphasis in poetry and playwriting. He has led writing workshops for The Haiku Society of America, The Cradle of American Haiku Festival, the St. Louis Poetry Center, the Webster Groves Literary Festival, Missouri Baptist University among others

A founding member of the Tin Ceiling theater company, his plays have been produced on several small stages across the St. Louis Area. 

Ben currently works as an eCommerce Functional Analyst for MilliporeSigma, can be seen in Wicked Pixel feature films and lives in St. Louis, MO, with his wife, Jessica, and cat, Anastasia.
