Welcome to my Website. I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at Wharton and the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics at the University of Pennsylvania. My major fields of interest are health economics, labor economics and applied microeconomics.

One big strand of my research investigates how regulatory changes and pubic policy changes impact crime, health and health behaviors. To this end several studies  investigate how access to healthcare impacts risky health behaviors, such as smoking, drinking, and body weight. My second strand of research focuses on the determinants  of health due to changes in the provider setting. My current works investigates how a proactive provider outreach  to close gaps of care   can reduce the long-term probability of unnecessary emergency room use and hospitalizations.
