Recent reuslts of Belinschi-Capitane, Bordenave-Collins have renewed interest in my 2020 paper on a random matrix approach to the Peterson-Thom conjecture. This prompted an informal discussion with myself, Srivatsav Kunnawalkam Elayavalli, Rolando de Santiago, Aldo Garcia Guinto, Roy Araiza, and Jesse Peterson.
