During the spring and summer of 2017 Ben Fisher remodeled a house we had
recently bought. I had no experience with remodeling but Ben was very honest
when I would tell him my ideas. He explained how things would have to be done in
a way that I could understand (whether my idea made sense or not). I learned
about ‘project creep’. Most of all, he and his crew were dependable. He did what
he said, when he said. His estimates were spot on. He was always professional but
kind, which I appreciate since I was a woman doing a project I knew nothing about.

Ben remodeled our kitchen in 2014 and did such a great job that we had him back to renovate 3
bathrooms in 2017.
For the kitchen, he participated in the kitchen design, giving us everything on our wish list, and
did a masterful job on all the carpentry and installation. He supervised other subs. He showed
up on time every day and put in full days until the job was finished. At the end of every day he
was careful to leave the worksite safe and clean.
With the bathroom renovations, he coordinated and supervised the all the subs—demolition,
plumbing, electric, tile, paint--and installed many fixtures himself, such as mirrors and towel
bars. He discovered serious mold and rot in the master bath, and he immediately brought in a
mitigation team to solve the problem, with very little interruption to the renovation work.
Ben also built a beautiful closet for us in a spare bedroom.
Besides his skill in design, carpentry and installation, Ben is very reliable and delightful to work
with.
